TCA Peel
The TCA peel is a non-toxic chemical peel. TCA stands for trichloroacetic acid. We offer a 15%, 25% and a 35% strength. This chemical peel is a more aggressive and is used to treat uneven skin tone, texture, large pores, damaged skin, fine lines, melasma, hyperpigmentation and scarring.

Frequency: Patients will typically only have one treatment but may wish to repeat the process until they reach their desired result and then maintain yearly.
Follow Up: Follow up is recommended 1 month after treatment, to review results and for photos.
Prep: Patients should discontinue topical retinols, retinoids, alpha hydroxyl acids, and any other products that may cause irritation 1 week prior to treatment, and for 6 weeks post treatment.
Downtime: There is a significant amount of peeling that lasts around 7-10 days. Patients should be informed that little to no sun exposure is recommended during the peeling process and for several weeks after.
